Emily Jennings

Emily Jennings, Clinical Assistant Professor at Cleveland State University's Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders within the College of Health Professions, specializes in clinical education and person-centered care for neurological communication disorders. She previously served as a senior clinical speech-language pathologist and educator at Cleveland Clinic - Euclid Hospital before transitioning to full-time academic roles.

Her clinical expertise focuses on acquired neurological cognitive/communication disorders, including Supported Conversations for Adults with Aphasia (SCA™), hypokinetic dysarthria/hypophonia treatment in Parkinson’s patients, and implementation of evidence-based practices in real-world settings. She teaches foundational undergraduate courses and graduate medical speech-language pathology electives while supervising clinical services at CSU’s Speech & Hearing Clinic.
