Alyssa Sachs

Alyssa Sachs, PhD, CCC-SLP, is a Postdoctoral Research Associate at the University of Arizona, affiliated with the Department of Speech, Language, and Hearing Sciences. She holds a PhD in Speech, Language, and Hearing Sciences (2023), as well as Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from the same institution. Her research focuses on acquired language disorders in adults, particularly investigating phonological and grammatical mechanisms in reading/writing, and aphasia treatment strategies. She contributes to the Aphasia Research Project lab under Dr. Pélagie Beeson.
