Alyssa Capeling is a Clinical Professor and Instructor in the Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders at Wayne State University's College of Liberal Arts and Sciences. She serves as a part-time clinical educator for the university's pediatric team while maintaining a private practice. Her roles include teaching graduate courses such as Graduate Phonology and supervising clinical education programs.

- M.A. in Audiology and Speech Language Pathology, Michigan State University (2003)
Research & Clinical Interests: Her work focuses on pragmatic impacts of speech sound disorders, early identification/treatment of autism spectrum disorder, auditory rehabilitation, and clinical education methodologies. She has advanced training in DIR FloorTime, Hanen Certification, SCERTS, and interventions for childhood apraxia of speech (e.g., DTTC, ReST, PROMPT).
