Alyssa Capeling

Alyssa Capeling is a Clinical Professor and Instructor in the Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders at Wayne State University's College of Liberal Arts and Sciences. She serves as a part-time clinical educator for the university's pediatric team while maintaining a private practice. Her roles include teaching graduate courses such as Graduate Phonology and supervising clinical education programs.

She has advanced training in DIR FloorTime, Hanen Certification, SCERTS, and interventions for childhood apraxia of speech (e.g., DTTC, ReST, PROMPT).
