Mary M. Staebell

Mary M. Staebell is a Clinical Associate Professor in the Department of Communicative Disorders and Sciences at the University at Buffalo-SUNY, affiliated with the College of Arts and Sciences. She specializes in clinical education and advanced therapeutic techniques for speech disorders, particularly in Childhood Apraxia of Speech and articulation disorders. Her certifications include the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association's Certificate of Clinical Competence, NYS licensure, and specialized training in DIR/Floortime and PROMPT therapies.

Dr. Staebell is recognized for clinical excellence, receiving the 2019 Tindle-Shupe Award and Apraxia Kids' Advanced Training Recognition.
