Emily A. Foster is a Lecturer in the Department of Literatures in English at Cornell University, affiliated with the College of Arts and Sciences. She holds a Ph.D., M.A., and M.Phil. in English and Comparative Literature from Columbia University; an M.A. in Education from Stanford University; and a B.A., summa cum laude, from Cornell University. Her research focuses on the global 19th-century novel, Victorian literature, intersections with Early Modern periods, and media studies through serialized narratives.
