Ariel Estrella is a Lecturer in the Department of Literatures in English at Cornell University, holding an MA from Cornell and a BA from Macalester College. Their research interrogates intersections of queer of color critique with lyricism in 20th/21st century Latine and African-American literature. They teach courses like ENGL 1134 (FWS: True Stories) and blend scholarly critique with creative forms such as poetry and personal essays.
