Emily Buckley

Emily Buckley is a Senior Lecturer in Health Psychology at Staffordshire University, working part-time (Weds-Fridays). She previously served as Head of the Psychology Department (2017–2023) and held leadership roles in academic groups and subject areas. Her professional credentials include HCPC registration as a Health Psychologist, Chartered Psychologist status (CPsychol), and Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (SFHEA). She has extensive experience in public health research, including interventions targeting sexual health, drug use, and healthcare service evaluations. Her research focuses on health promotion, health inequalities, and interventions to improve exercise and healthy eating behaviors.
