Emer Reeves

Prof. Emer Reeves is an Associate Professor in Anaesthetics and Critical Care at The Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland (RCSI), affiliated with the Irish Centre for Genetic Lung Disease and the Department of Medicine at Beaumont Hospital, Dublin. Her research focuses on lung inflammation, neutrophil biology, and genetic respiratory diseases like alpha-1 antitrypsin deficiency (AATD) and cystic fibrosis (CF). She has held roles including Senior Lecturer, Senior Researcher, and Deputy Head of School, with academic positions spanning institutions like University College London and National University of Ireland Maynooth.
