Dr. Elton Barker is Professor of Greek Literature and Culture in the Classical Studies department of the Faculty of Arts at The Open University, UK. He joined the OU in 2009 after academic positions at Christ Church, Oxford, Bristol, Nottingham, and Reading Universities, bringing expertise in Homeric scholarship and digital humanities methodologies.
