Ellis Hepburn-Janour

Ellis Hepburn-Janour is an Adjunct Professor of fibers at Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD), teaching in Savannah, GA and Lacoste, France since 2011. They also served as a Guest Lecturer in screenprinting at the University of California, Santa Cruz (2016–2018) and a Visiting Artist in textiles at California College of Arts (2002).

Education: M.F.A. and B.F.A. in fibers and graphic design from SCAD. Professional experience includes over 25 years in textile design, product development, and interior design roles at firms like Larette Design, Scalamandre, Conrad Imports, Luna Textiles, and their own Ellis & Company (Savannah, 1992–1997).

Exhibitions include Landline (Santa Cruz, 2018), Same as It Never Was (2015), and a solo exhibition at Wallflower (2014). Consulting focuses on space planning and textile product development.
