Elliott Tackitt serves as Assistant Professor of Music and Director of Bands at the University of Virginia's School of Arts and Sciences since Fall 2021. His responsibilities include directing the Cavalier Marching Band, conducting the Wind Ensemble, and overseeing artistic guidance for the band program. As an internationally active clinician and conductor, he focuses on music education and historical research related to San Marino's military band repertoire.
