Ella Wilhelm is a Lecturer and Teaching Fellow in the Department of Germanic Studies and the College at the University of Chicago. She holds a Ph.D. in Germanic Studies from the University of Chicago (2023). Her research focuses on Romanticism, media theory, and aesthetic theory, examining concepts like 'world' and 'universe' in 19th-century aesthetics and their relations to cosmic metaphors.
