Prof. Elke Sohn is a Vice Rector for Transfer & Climate Strategy and holds a professorship in Architectural History and Theory at Stuttgart University of Applied Sciences. She leads the Integral Architecture Competence Center and oversees key initiatives like the Center for Climate Competence & Ethics and HFT.Lab. Her academic career includes roles as Vice Dean (2012), HFT Stuttgart faculty member (2011–present), and research positions at TU Kaiserslautern and HafenCity University Hamburg.
Education: Diploma in Architecture & Urban Planning from Hamburg University of Applied Sciences (1997–2006), with a doctoral thesis on post-1945 urban reconstruction concepts. Early career included freelance work and teaching at Saarland University of Applied Sciences.
