Elizabeth Zippi

Elizabeth Zippi is a Professor in the Department of Chemistry and Physics at Louisiana State University in Shreveport (College of Arts & Sciences). With 29 years at LSUS, her research focuses on Radiopharmaceuticals and Nutraceuticals, leveraging expertise in Organic and Polymer Chemistry.

Her work spans isotopic labeling, polymer functionalization, and essential oil analysis for medical and chemical applications. Publications highlight advancements in radiopharmaceutical synthesis and nuclear imaging techniques.

Scientific awards include Outstanding Faculty Awards in Teaching, Research, and Service, making her the first LSUS faculty to earn all three. She also contributes to academic leadership as Interim Chair of her department.
