معرفی
Dr. Stefan Gruber is a Lecturer and Head of the HCI Isotope Labs at the Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences (IPW), ETH Zürich. He holds an MSc and PhD in Chemistry from ETH Zürich, with postdoctoral research at the University of Basel (asymmetric hydrogenations) and the University of Oxford (fluorine-18 labelling for PET-imaging under SNSF funding). His research focuses on catalytic methodologies, radiopharmaceutical development, and isotope chemistry applications.
Education:
- PhD in Chemistry, ETH Zürich (group of Prof. Paul S. Pregosin)
- MSc in Chemistry, ETH Zürich
Research Interests: Dr. Gruber specializes in transition-metal catalysis (ruthenium-catalyzed reactions), asymmetric synthesis, and development of radiolabeling techniques for medical imaging. His work bridges organic chemistry and pharmaceutical sciences, particularly in advancing PET imaging technologies through fluorine-18 incorporation.
Labs/Teams: Leads the HCI Isotope Labs, a facility dedicated to isotope-based chemical research and radiopharmaceutical development.
Grants: Recipient of Swiss National Science Foundation (SNSF) postdoctoral fellowship (2013–2015).
