Elizabeth Sauer

Elizabeth Sauer is a Distinguished Professor at Brock University’s English Language & Literature department, part of the Faculty of Humanities. Her research focuses on early modern literature, particularly John Milton’s works, alongside topics like imperialism, women’s literary history, and the history of the book. She holds prestigious roles such as President of the Canadian Society for Renaissance Studies and has been honored with awards including the Killam Research Laureate and Fellow of the Royal Society of Canada.
