Mimi Fenton is a Visiting Professor in the Department of English at the University of Wyoming. She holds a BA and MA from UW and a PhD from the University of Kentucky, specializing in John Milton and Early Modern Literature. Prior to her current role, she served as a Professor of English at Western Carolina University, where she also held administrative roles including Dean of the Graduate School and Research (2012–2015). Her research focuses on John Milton, Renaissance literature, and pedagogical methodologies.

Her research interests include John Milton's works, 17th-century British literature, and the intersection of spiritual and political themes in literature. In 2018, she served as a Fulbright Scholar in Budapest, Hungary.
