Elizabeth Isenring is a Professor and head of the Nutrition and Dietetics programs at Bond University's Faculty of Health Sciences and Medicine. She holds editorial roles as Nutrition Section Editor for Current Oncology and Associate Editor for Nutrition and Dietetics. With a PhD in Nutrition from Queensland University of Technology (2003), she has led the development of Australian and international evidence-based nutrition guidelines, focusing on oncology, geriatric nutrition, and malnutrition management.

Her research emphasizes oncology nutrition, aging-related malnutrition, and systematic reviews. Recent work explores medicinal cannabis’s mental health impact in cancer patients and ginger’s role in chemotherapy side-effect mitigation.
Her awards include the 2012 DAA National Award of Merit for terminological contributions. Supervised students have won international accolades such as DAA Best New Presenter and Best of the Best awards.
