Dr. Elizabeth 'Betz' Halloran is a Professor in the Department of Biostatistics and Epidemiology at the University of Washington and an Adjunct Professor in Applied Mathematics. She leads the Biostatistics, Bioinformatics, and Epidemiology (BBE) Program at Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center's Vaccine and Infectious Disease Division. Her roles include directing the Summer Institute in Statistics and Modeling in Infectious Diseases (SISMID) and the Center for Inference and Dynamics of Infectious Diseases (CIDID), which advises federal responses to outbreaks.
