Elizabeth George

Elizabeth George, MBBS, is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Radiology at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF). She specializes in neuroradiology, focusing on fetal and pediatric brain imaging, head/neck radiology, and CT-guided spinal pain interventions. Her research explores advanced imaging techniques for neurodevelopmental disorders and fetal brain development. George holds a medical degree from the All India Institute of Medical Sciences and completed radiology residency at Brigham and Women’s Hospital, followed by a neuroradiology fellowship at UCSF.

Her research interests include fetal MRI patterns in congenital disorders, neuroimaging of genetic syndromes, and applications of AI in diagnostic radiology. Key achievements include the American Society of Neuroradiology’s 2020 Scholar Award and contributions to NCCN clinical guidelines for pediatric cancers. She has published extensively on fetal imaging, neurodevelopmental disorders, and AI-driven diagnostic tools.

George has also engaged in diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives through the University of California.
