Yi Li

Dr. Yi Li is an Associate Professor in the Department of Radiology at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF), specializing in pediatric neuroimaging within the Neuroradiology Section. She holds roles including Director of the Neuroradiology Fellowship Program and has served as a Clinical Instructor. Her academic journey includes an MD from Harvard Medical School (2011), a Diagnostic Radiology residency at UCSF (2016), and a Neuroradiology fellowship (2017).

Dr. Li’s research focuses on neonatal and pediatric brain imaging, particularly in hypoxic-ischemic encephalopathy and neurodevelopmental outcomes. She has pioneered work using AI for outcome prediction in neonates and has contributed to imaging guidelines for pediatric brain tumors and congenital anomalies.
