Elizabeth Cowley is a Professor and Department Head of Physiology and Biophysics at Dalhousie University's Faculty of Medicine. She holds a BSc from University College London, a PhD from the University of Leicester, and completed postdoctoral research at institutions including UCSF, McGill, and Dalhousie. Her research focuses on oxidative stress mechanisms in lung diseases, particularly cystic fibrosis, aiming to develop novel therapies.
