Dr. Elizabeth Aston is the Director of the Scottish Institute for Policing Research (SIPR) and a Professor of Criminology at Edinburgh Napier University. She holds leadership roles in multiple initiatives, including chairing the Independent Advisory Group on Emerging Technologies in Policing (2020–2023) and co-editing Palgrave's Critical Policing Studies Series.
