Elise Dan-Glauser is an Associate Professor of Experimental Psychology at the Institute of Psychology (IP), University of Lausanne (UNIL), appointed as of August 1, 2024. Her research focuses on emotional emergence and functional emotional regulation mechanisms across diverse contexts.
- Education: Doctorate from the University of Geneva (2008), followed by postdoctoral work at Stanford University.
Her work integrates central and peripheral physiological markers of emotional experience, with interdisciplinary collaborations spanning Clinical Psychology, Psychology of School and Professional Guidance, and international institutions like CHUV, University of Geneva, University of Grenoble, Autonomous University of Madrid, and Free University of Brussels. She has secured multiple Swiss National Science Foundation (SNSF) grants (Ambizione, Eccellenza, Div. 1) to investigate emotional regulation challenges and determinants of adaptive regulation.
Elise Dan-Glauser participates in mentoring programs such as PROWD at UNIL and the Swiss Psychological Society, and contributes to scientific outreach. She is affiliated with the Faculty's Cognitive and Affective Regulation Laboratory (CARLA).
