Paul Klauser is an Assistant Professor on conditional pre-tenure at the Faculty of Biology and Medicine of the University of Lausanne (UNIL) since January 1, 2022, and heads the Psychosis Research Unit at the Center for Psychiatric Neurosciences (CHUV). His work bridges clinical psychiatry and advanced neuroimaging research, focusing on translational studies of psychosis to identify biomarkers and stage-specific interventions.
- Education: Medical degree (2004) and PhD in neurobiology (2008) from the University of Geneva.
- Research Focus: Psychiatric neurosciences, neuroimaging methodology (brain metabolite mapping), and translational approaches to psychosis.
- Collaborations: Works with Dr. Antoine Klauser, Prof. François Lazeyras (CIBM), and Prof. Patric Hagmann (UNIL-CHUV).
Grants & Roles: Holds SNSF MD-PhD and NCCR-SYNAPSY grants. Senior Advisor to the Research Academy of the European Society for Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. Recipient of Adrian & Simone Frutiger Foundation funding (2018–2022).
