Elisabeth DUTIL is an Associate Professor at the University of Montreal, affiliated with the School of Rehabilitation and the Department of Occupational Therapy within the Faculty of Medicine. Her research focuses on disability situations related to daily activities and work following brain injuries (traumatic brain injury and stroke), emphasizing the role of environmental factors in creating disability. She is a member of the CRIR (Interdisciplinary Research Centre in Rehabilitation of Greater Montréal).
Her expertise spans clinical and evaluative methodologies, with a focus on traumatic brain injuries and conditions affecting adaptation and professional reintegration. She has supervised numerous graduate students since 1991, addressing topics such as leisure in geriatric rehabilitation, executive dysfunction assessment, and environmental determinants of employment retention post-injury.
