Andréane Richard-Denis is an Adjunct Clinical Professor in the Department of Medicine at Université de Montréal, specializing in physical medicine and rehabilitation with a focus on spinal cord injury (SCI) patients. She practices at Hôpital du Sacré-Cœur de Montréal (CIUSSS Nord-de-l'Île-de Montréal), managing acute traumatic and non-traumatic SCI cases. She co-leads an interdisciplinary follow-up program for community-based SCI patients and directs the clinical fellowship program in SCI rehabilitation at HSCM.
Her research focuses on identifying acute-phase predictors of neuro-functional recovery, medical complication prevention, and optimizing acute-care and rehabilitation interventions for SCI patients. She also evaluates healthcare service organization and resource optimization. She holds appointments at the Centre de Recherche du CIUSSS Nord-de-l'Île-de-Montréal and the Centre de recherche interdisciplinaire en réadaptation du Montréal métropolitain (CRIR).
