Eleanor WONG

Eleanor WONG is an Associate Professor (Professional Practice) at the National University of Singapore (NUS) Faculty of Law, serving as Director of the Legal Skills Programme and Co-Director of the Centre for Pro Bono & Clinical Legal Education. She also holds leadership roles as Associate Provost (Special Projects) at NUS, Vice Dean of Residential Programmes and Enrichment at NUS College, and Dean of the Singapore Institute of Legal Education. Her career spans legal practice, academia, and industry consultancy.

Education: LLM (New York University), LLB (NUS), qualified as an Advocate & Solicitor (Singapore) and Attorney & Counsellor (New York State).

Research interests include Legal Education, Legal History, Legislation & Statutory Interpretation, Trial Advocacy, Media Regulation, and International Commercial Law. She has published works on media law and legal technology, blending academic rigor with practical legal training.

Publications highlight her expertise in Singapore's legal landscape, including co-authoring Creative Licence: The Regulation of Media in Singapore (2021) and contributions to Law and Technology in Singapore (2021/2025). She has also pursued creative writing, with plays and poetry produced regionally.
