CHEAH Wui Ling

Cheah Wui Ling is an Associate Professor at the Faculty of Law, National University of Singapore (NUS) since 2007. She holds a DPhil from Oxford University, LLM degrees from Harvard Law School and NUS, and is a qualified lawyer admitted to the New York Bar. Her research focuses on international criminal law, transitional justice, and human rights, emphasizing the intersections of law, culture, and power. She co-founded the Singapore War Crimes Trials Web Portal and leads a book project on Singapore’s war crimes trials. She has received multiple teaching awards from NUS and holds editorial roles at leading journals, including the Journal of International Criminal Justice. Prior to academia, she worked at INTERPOL’s Office of Legal Affairs and served as a Visiting Professional at the International Criminal Court.
