Eleanor Milligan is a Lecturer in Primary Education at the School of Education & Lifelong Learning, University of East Anglia. Her work focuses on early years teaching, leadership, and teacher training, particularly within the Primary PGCE program where she leads the early years pathway and serves as a lead mentor for school placements.
Her research and professional activities emphasize early childhood education, public engagement, and educational development. She contributes to national initiatives through her role as a trustee of TACTYC and leads key projects such as the Joyce Morris Early Years Literacy Forum and the Reception Class Teacher Network.
Her expertise supports the United Nations Sustainable Development Goal for Quality Education, with a focus on early years and inclusive pedagogy.
Eleanor actively participates in consultancy, evaluation projects, and public/government panels, including the Norwich Opportunity Area Priority One Legacy Team and the evaluation of the Community Communication Champions project.
