Eleanor Dawkins is a Clinical Research Associate and Core-Psychiatry Trainee on the Maudsley Training Programme at King's College London. She is affiliated with the Department of Psychosis Studies within the School of Academic Psychiatry at the Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology & Neuroscience. Her research focuses on treatment-resistant psychosis and the physical health challenges faced by patients with severe mental illness. She joined Prof Howes’ research group in October 2022, contributing to the RESTORE study investigating glutamatergic function’s role in treatment-resistant schizophrenia.
Her work integrates clinical practice with translational research, aiming to improve understanding and interventions for severe psychiatric conditions. Key themes in her research include neuropsychopharmacology, neurobiology of psychosis, and clinical outcomes in mental health.
