Edwige Savouret is a Lecturer in Geography at the University of Lorraine, affiliated with the Faculty of Human Sciences (UFR SHS-Metz) and the Loterr laboratory. Her work focuses on climatology, historical geography, and environmental heritage studies.
- Doctorate in Geography (University of Caen Basse-Normandie, 2007)
- Post-doctoral research at University of Paris IV-Sorbonne (2009-2010)
Her research explores climatic impacts on viticulture, weather pattern classification, and military heritage geography, particularly in Normandy and northeastern France. She has contributed to understanding the evolution of climatic conditions in metropolitan France and their effects on coastal and urban environments.
Edwige supervises internships for Master 1 and 2 DEMETERR students and served as Geography Degree Director at UFR SHS-Metz (2010-2011). She teaches applied regional geography, geomorphology, biogeography, and urban/tourism geography.
