Edward L. Barnes

Edward L. Barnes, MD, MPH is an Associate Professor of Medicine at the UNC School of Medicine, specializing in Gastroenterology and Hepatology. His research focuses on clinical outcomes in Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD) patients, particularly those with ulcerative colitis undergoing restorative proctocolectomy with ileal pouch-anal anastomosis (IPAA).
