Edna Ndichu Jones

Edna Ndichu Jones is an Associate Professor in the Department of Economics and Business at Whitworth University, joining the faculty in 2017. She holds a Ph.D. from the University of Wyoming, an M.B.A. from Baylor University, and a B.S. from Africa Nazarene University.

Her research focuses on consumption and consumer well-being in stigmatized contexts, new product development in sustainable innovations, and sociocultural influences on consumer practices. Notable work includes studies on Black women's hair care identity shifts and frameworks for analyzing marketplace stigma.

Teaching specialties include consumer behavior, marketing management, and market research. She has presented at conferences such as the Marketing & Public Policy Conference and the Subsistence Marketplaces Conference.

Teaches courses including BU 301 (Consumer Behavior), BU 356 (Managerial Marketing), and BU 218 (Marketing).
