Edmund Schuster is an Associate Professor of corporate law at the London School of Economics (LSE). He specializes in corporate law, law and finance, takeover regulation, and the economic analysis of law. His research addresses blockchain/DLT integration, legal obstacles to digital innovations, and EU corporate governance reforms. He advises Baker & McKenzie Austria’s M&A team and contributed to European Commission studies on corporate governance and private international law.

Research interests include corporate law reform, capital markets regulation, and the intersection of law with financial systems. His recent work critiques cryptoassets’ legal viability and examines blockchain’s practical challenges. He co-authored The Private International Law of Companies in Europe (2019) and The New Albanian Company Law (2009).
