Edmund Schuster

Edmund Schuster is an Associate Professor of Corporate Law at the London School of Economics (LSE) and holds a Global Professor title in the London Law Programme. He specializes in corporate finance law, mergers & acquisitions, and corporate governance, with research extending to blockchain technologies and European regulatory frameworks. His work includes advising the European Commission on corporate governance reforms and private international law.

Education: Studied law at the University of Vienna and LSE. Pre-academic career included corporate law practice in London and Vienna, and leadership at the Austrian Takeover Commission.

Research affiliations include the UCL Centre for Blockchain Technologies. He is a managing editor of the European Company and Financial Law Review and holds an Of Counsel position at Baker McKenzie.
