Edith Galla

Edith Galla is a Senior Lecturer at the Károli Gáspár Reformed University, Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, Department of English Linguistics. She previously worked at Semmelweis University and Budapest Business School.

Research Interests: 19th-20th Century English and American Literature, Gothic Fiction, Women Writers, Feminism, Crime Fiction, and Consumer Society. Her work explores intersections of gender, technology, and cultural identity, particularly in Sylvia Plath's works and Gothic narratives.

Article Trends: Her publications focus on Sylvia Plath's poetry, Gothic elements in literature, consumerist themes, and gendered representations. Recent works examine Bret Easton Ellis and urban alienation, while older studies analyze medical dehumanization and war poetry.
