Professor Ebru Kaya is a faculty member at Bogazici University's Department of Science Education. She holds an honorary research fellowship at the University of Oxford and has been a visiting scholar at multiple international institutions including National Taiwan Normal University and University of Bristol. Her research focuses on argumentation and nature of science in science education.
Dr. Kaya has led several research projects funded by Bogazici University Research Fund, including comparative studies on nature of science in teacher education and textbook analyses. She conducts professional development workshops for science teachers globally and has served on editorial boards for journals like International Journal of Science Education.
