Ebru Kaya is a Professor of Science Education at Bogazici University, Turkey, and an Honorary Research Fellow in the Department of Education at the University of Oxford, UK since 2019. She holds a PhD in Science Education from Middle East Technical University (2011) and has conducted visiting scholar roles at institutions including the University of Oxford and National Taiwan Normal University. Her research focuses on argumentation, nature of science, and STEM education.
