Eaton is a Professor and Associate Dean for Faculty Affairs & Interdisciplinary Programs at the University of Illinois Chicago, affiliated with the Department of Philosophy in the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences. She holds a PhD in philosophy and art history from The University of Chicago. Her research focuses on intersections of aesthetics, ethics, and social justice, including topics like artistic representations of trauma, feminist aesthetics, and aesthetic injustice.
