Duncan J. McCampbell

Associate Professor and Department Chair Duncan J. McCampbell teaches at Metropolitan State University in Minneapolis, Minnesota, specializing in business law and international marketing. Previously, he served as associate professor and MBA program director at Bethel University, and as adjunct professor at Saint Paul College, Hamline University School of Law, and University of St. Thomas School of Law. His professional background includes environmental law practice at Lind, Jensen, Sullivan & Peterson and international business development at Thomson Reuters, where he launched legal information services across 10+ countries including Westlaw China.

His scholarship bridges legal theory with practical international business applications.

Professional Leadership: He serves as a six-year discussion leader for the Foreign Policy Association's Great Decisions Program (China specialization) and was immediate past co-chair of the Minnesota/China Business Council. His visiting scholar appointments include University of International Business and Economics (Beijing), South China University of Technology (Guangzhou), Huaihua University, and Hunan Institute of Science and Technology.
