Tracy Harris

Tracy Harris is an Adjunct Instructor of Business at Bethel University, teaching Business Law in both the BA Business program (College of Arts and Sciences) and the BS Business Management program (College of Adult and Professional Studies). She is a licensed attorney in Minnesota and has been actively teaching legal courses since 2006.

Her teaching and professional work focus on legal education and practical law application, particularly in business and juvenile protection contexts. She has taught a broad array of legal subjects including Business Law and Ethics, Criminal Law, Constitutional Law, Contracts, and Litigation, both at Bethel and other institutions.

Tracy is deeply engaged in the legal community through bar associations, mock trial programs, and civic education initiatives. She serves or has served in leadership roles in the Eighteenth District Bar Association and on the Minnesota Supreme Court Advisory Committee. Her work as a judge for high school and collegiate mock trials and as a law student mentor reflects her commitment to legal pedagogy and youth development.

She is currently researching for a book aimed at younger women and integrates personal interests such as writing, running, volunteering, healthy cooking, and home decoration into her life. Her teaching philosophy is guided by Micah 6:8 — 'to do justly, love mercy, and walk humbly with God.'
