Dražen Novaković is an Associate Professor at the Department of Finance and Accounting, Faculty of Economics, University of Osijek. He joined the faculty in 2014 as an assistant and was promoted to senior assistant in 2021 and associate professor in 2025. He also collaborates externally with the Faculty of Applied Mathematics and Informatics in Osijek.

- Research Focus: Pension systems, behavioral finance, corporate finance, financial literacy
His research emphasizes pension fund regulation, portfolio management, and socioeconomic impacts of policy changes. Recent work includes analyzing cultural sector economic capacities pre-COVID and evaluating currency risk exposure in Croatia.
