Dajana Barbić is an Associate Professor in the Department of Finance at the Faculty of Economics and Business, University of Zagreb. She has been teaching courses such as Public Finance, Personal Finance, Local Finance, and Monetary Policy across undergraduate and graduate programs since 2008. Her academic journey includes graduating summa cum laude in 2008, earning a specialist degree in 'Management of Financial Institutions' in 2011, and defending her doctoral thesis on financial literacy and personal finance management in 2014.

Scientific awards include the Rector’s Award (2008), Dr. Pero Jurković Award (2019), and Zagreb Stock Exchange Award (2019). She has participated in ERASMUS professional visits and reviewed numerous academic papers.
Dajana organizes the Regional Financial Literacy Conference and serves on the Operational Working Group for Financial Literacy at the Ministry of Finance. She is a member of the Scientific Society of Economists, Operational Research Society, and Supervisory Board of Croatian Radio and Television. Fluent in English, with passive knowledge of Spanish and Italian.
