Dov Greenbaum is an Associate Professor in the Department of Molecular Biophysics and Biochemistry at Yale University and a Lecturer in Biomedical Informatics and Data Science at the Yale School of Medicine. He holds a JD from the University of California, Berkeley, and a PhD in Genetics from Yale University. His research focuses on the ethical, legal, and social implications (ELSI) of emerging technologies, particularly in genomics, bioethics, and AI. He is also a practicing intellectual property attorney, specializing in biotechnology and law & technology issues. Greenbaum leads the Ethical Legal & Social Implications of Science Lab, exploring topics like genetic privacy, cyberbiosecurity, and AI ethics. His work bridges science, law, and policy, addressing challenges posed by advancements in biotechnology and digital technologies.
