Douglas Quirke

Douglas Quirke serves as the Research Associate at the Environmental and Natural Resources Law Center (ENR Law Center) at the University of Oregon School of Law. Since joining the center in 2014, he has collaborated with students on key projects such as the Conservation Trust Project and Sustainable Land Use Project, which focus on addressing contemporary environmental challenges through research, analysis, and innovative solutions.

Mr. Quirke graduated from the University of Oregon School of Law in 1995 and has dedicated his career to environmental advocacy. He founded the Oregon Clean Water Action Project, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, in 1999 to enforce the Clean Water Act and raise public awareness about water quality issues in Oregon. His work emphasizes legal strategies to protect environmental resources, particularly in the realms of water law and sustainable land use.
