Dongwan Yoo

Dr. Dongwan Yoo is a Professor in the Department of Pathobiology within the College of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Illinois. His research focuses on viral pathogenesis, with a particular emphasis on porcine reproductive and respiratory syndrome virus (PRRSV), arteriviruses, and other swine pathogens. His work spans viral immune evasion mechanisms, vaccine development, and genetic diversity of viral diseases.
