Donald D. Anderson is a Professor and Vice Chair of Research at the University of Iowa, holding the Richard and Jan Johnston Chair in Orthopedic Biomechanics. He is affiliated with the Carver College of Medicine and the College of Engineering, where he works in the Departments of Orthopedics and Rehabilitation and Roy J. Carver Department of Biomedical Engineering, respectively. His research integrates engineering mechanics with biomedical applications to address musculoskeletal disorders and enhance surgical training through simulation.
