Donald Carrier

Donald Carrier is a Lecturer and Director of the CWRU/CPH MFA Acting Program at Case Western Reserve University's Department of Theater. He has extensive experience in theater and film across North America, with prominent roles at the Stratford Festival, Old Globe, and Cleveland Play House.

• Education: Diploma from Webber Douglas Academy of Dramatic Arts, BCom from McGill University

His research and artistic practice focuses on acting, Shakespearean performance, and dramatic arts. He has directed works such as The Misanthrope, Clybourne Park, and The Crucible, blending classical and contemporary theater.

Mr. Carrier has received notable recognition, including the Lunt-Fontanne Fellowship (2016), Helen Hayes Nomination for The Duchess of Malfi, and Jessie Nomination for The Love Stories. His career spans prestigious institutions like Stratford Festival, Shaw Festival, and Notre Dame Shakespeare Festival.
