Donal Nolan is Professor of Private Law at Worcester College, University of Oxford, and Francis Reynolds and Clarendon Fellow. His research focuses on tort law (especially negligence and private nuisance), contract law, and intersections between tort and public law. He has taught across multiple institutions including the National University of Singapore and University of Trento.
He is a Senior Fellow at the University of Melbourne, member of the American Law Institute, and serves on the editorial committee of the Modern Law Review. His publications include analyses of duty of care, contributory negligence, and nuisance law.
